Reserved car parking for human with disability

Carrying out an access audit will help you determine how well a building, environment or service performs in relation to best practice standards covering access for disabled people. An access audit will identify barriers and provide recommendations on what reasonable adjustments you can make to remove them.

If you’re considering how accessible your workplaces and services are, we’ve created a short, handy checklist to get you started; looking at key areas such as building access and egress, car parking, internal movement around a building, seating, wayfinding signage and the applicable standards to compare against.

Identifying and implementing reasonable adjustments will help promote inclusivity, support current and future employees, visitors, clients and customers alike and, protect your organisation’s reputation.
