Understand why making reasonable adjustments is significant for service providers and individuals

There are around 14.1 million people in the UK with a disability. Yet despite this number, service providers are yet to make adjustments to their premises and services to allow disabled people full access and enjoyment. Our accessibility infographic is a useful introduction to this vital topic, introducing key concepts including the social model of disability.

Organisations and service providers can use this model to look at potential barriers to access across 3 areas:
