More about our UX vacancies

UX Research Consultant or Senior consultant

We’re looking for someone who can help us deliver high quality, innovative ux research for our clients, working across a range of products and industries. You’ll be involved in client meetings to discuss their design projects, plan and facilitate research sessions, run workshops and produce and present reports.

Your knowledge and experience

Educated to degree level in usability, HCI, ergonomics or something similar, you’ll have experience of a variety of different research methods, enjoy the challenge of listening and responding to what clients need, and have excellent communication skills and a good eye for detail.

It’s important that you enjoy working as part of an expert team, where mutual support and knowledge sharing are key. You also need to be able to convey why the user or customer is central to your work, and be able to deliver recommendations effectively.

Senior consultant

For the senior level position we’re looking for experience of working in a similar agency environment, including proactive networking and prospecting, and preparing competitive, costed proposals and pitches. With project leadership experience, you’ll be able to mentor and support other team members, while keeping projects to budget, deadlines and value expectations.

User Experience and Digital Accessibility Consultant or Senior Consultant

Similarly to the role above, we’re looking for a consultant who can deliver high quality, innovative user experience and digital accessibility research. Your typical week might include conducting audits against accessibility guidelines like WCAG, facilitating research sessions (for users with and without disabilities), and analysing and communicating findings in an engaging way.

Facilitating interactive training courses to upskill our clients is central to what we do, while you’ll also be adept at producing compelling accessibility project proposals, and high quality deliverables.

Your knowledge and experience

It’s likely you’ll have a degree in IT, accessibility, human computer interaction, interaction design or human centred systems, and/or experience of working in the accessibility field for at least 3 years.

We’re looking for someone combining excellent communication skills with a deep understanding of web accessibility requirements and guidelines, including WCAG 2.1. With basic web development skills and familiarity with HTML and CSS, you’ll be able to confidently evaluate online content.

As an accessibility consultant, you’ll be comfortable using assistive technologies and conducting user testing sessions with participants with disabilities. Ideally, you’ll be experienced in applying different research methods – and we’ll also expect you to be keen to expand your skill set to include more general user experience work.
