Our central London facilities are designed for usability and accessibility testing of a wide range of products and systems including PC and Mac based websites, TV and other digital media.

The test room can be configured as an office or domestic environment and real time viewing is provided in an adjacent air-conditioned room on a large high definition display.

The facilities are easily accessible by public transport (Waterloo, Charing Cross, Embankment, Covent Garden, Holborn and Temple stations are all within walking distance). For detailed directions on how to find us, please click here.

Our facilities include:

• A selection of assistive technology including JAWS, IBM Home Page Reader and ZoomText
• High-speed Internet connection (broadband) and a dial up connection on both IBM PC and Mac computing platforms
• A choice of four digital cameras, including a remotely controlled pan/tilt/zoom unit and a fish eye lens camera, to provide detailed views of participants and any other equipment
• Scan converter for flicker free recordings of PC or Mac screens
• VCR, DVD and Hard Disk recorders to capture what the participants do
• A choice of microphones to capture high quality audio of participants' comments
• Data logging software (Noldus Observer) so we can precisely measure and code participants' behaviour
• A completely separate viewing room with a high definition 37" wide screen LCD monitor with picture in picture facility for project team members to observe the reviews live. The viewing room has Internet access and will accommodate up to eight people comfortably
• Reception and hosting service to welcome participants and observers
• Light refreshment (tea, coffee, soft drinks, fruit and biscuits) for observers and participants.

We have a database of individuals with a range of abilities/disabilities for accessibility testing and can recruit or arrange the recruitment of participants to match any required profile.

Service Options

We offer a range of service options, from full service where our own consultants recruit participants, plan, design, facilitate, analyse and report on the testing, through to a facilities only service for external users. We are happy to work with your team to provide advice or resource at any stage of testing, please contact us to discuss your exact requirements.
