Techniques for Communicating Ideas
Involving end users in the design process and exploring users’ own designs, is becoming a popular way to identify requirements for new products and systems.
This approach explores users’ emotional responses to products and services as well as their reaction to visual and interaction design suggestions. The results can provide inspiration and information for the whole design team.
However, users are not always able to describe their needs and ideas for improvements in words. When conducting research with users we can use participative design techniques to help them communicate their ideas and impressions.
This podcast describes five of these techniques to see how they can provide real insight into what our users really want.
Please contact us if you would like to talk to us about how we can help you find out what your users really want.
