Earn Money by Talking About Websites

At System Concepts, we help companies make their products and websites easier to use by helping them understand how they are used by real people.   Recently our research has helped mobile phone companies, online shops and insurance websites provide a better service to their customers.

We are currently looking for adults and children with a range of abilities and disabilities to help us assess how easy some websites and products are to use.

This is a unique opportunity to really make a difference and help make products easier to use for everyone, while earning some money as well!

The first step is for you to tell us you are interested and give us some details about yourself.  Next time we need feedback on a product or website designed for somebody like you, we will invite you to come and try it out.  You will tell us what you think of it by chatting to one of our researchers yourself or with a small group of other people. There are no right or wrong answers – just tell it as it is!  The sessions generally last between 1 and 2 hours and as a thank-you we will give you £50 – £80 depending on the duration of the session.  For individuals with disabilities we can also help you with travel costs to and from our office. 
 
Most people really enjoy the sessions and find them worthwhile.  One of our participants recently commented:

I just wanted to say thank you for making my first experience of participating in a focus group so enjoyable.  I hope the information you got from us was useful in your study and that you will be able to progress the project including the feedback produced.  It was also interesting to share other people’s perspective on accessibility issues.

If you or someone you know is interested in taking part, or would like some more information we would love to hear from you!  We generally carry out the evaluations in Central London.  If you have special equipment to use the computer or have an impairment that makes it difficult to travel, we can arrange the session to take place at your home.
