System Concepts has reached the finals of three prestigious business awards this summer.
At the South East Regional Final of the National Business Awards we were in the top ten companies in the Health, Work and Wellbeing Category for Small Businesses. We are also shortlisted for the National Award in the same category.
And at the Employee Benefits Awards we were in the final six for the Most Effective Healthcare and Wellbeing Strategy.
Both judging panels were looking for organisations who could demonstrate tangible benefits from looking after the health and wellbeing of their workforce.
This year System Concepts’ wellbeing strategy has included:
Tanya Heasman, Joint Managing Director explains:
“We have seen how a systematic approach to health and well being has made our business more effective. Our productivity and staff morale has improved and our sickness and staff turnover rates are low. We are proud to be recognised as demonstrating best practice in this area, and will continue to pass on our expertise to help our clients get the same benefits.”
Kevin Heywood, a health and safety consultant at System Concepts, has reached the final four in the Consultant of the Year category of the SHP IOSH Awards 2009, for his work with one of our key clients Ernst & Young (EY). He has supported the on-site facilities teams in ten EY offices for the last two years, helping them reach the high standards of health and safety required by EY nationally.
Sally Wearing, Director of System Concepts, says:
“Kevin is always positive, enthusiastic and friendly. He carefully planned the work that needed to be done and then engaged, motivated and coached the EY facilities staff so they could take action themselves. We are delighted that all his dedication and hard work have been recognised.”
