Our health, safety and ergonomics consultants help our clients achieve a high standard of health and safety and improve their business performance as well as meeting their legal responsibilities.

Job description

We are seeking health and safety consultants/trainers to fill permanent positions. The positions are based in Central London and provide health and safety support services to one or more clients of System Concepts.

Duties include:

• conducting audits, risk assessments and inspections
• preparing policies and procedures
• managing implementation and compliance with clients’ health and safety policies and procedures
• motivating people in the importance of health and safety
• providing advice and guidance
• dealing with client staff at all levels to promote good health and safety culture
• delivering health and safety briefings and training.

Qualifications

We are looking for dynamic and positive individuals with some real-world health and safety experience who:

• hold the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
• are at least a Tech IOSH, preferably Grad IOSH or CMIOSH
• have a relevant degree
• can work well without supervision
• have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• can motivate and influence people
• can develop and present effective training courses.

An ergonomics qualification (BSc or MSc) would be an advantage and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
