Tanya is Judging the SMK Campaigner Award for Consumer Action
The charity SMK was established in 2005 to help develop a new generation of campaigners who are tackling the root causes of injustice.
The annual SMK Campaigner Awards provide a support programme for emerging and grassroots campaigners, offering a development package to winners which will equip them with the skills they need to make a greater impact and achieve real change.
Tanya Heasman, our joint MD, supports SMK and this year will be on the judging panel for the SMK Campaigner Award for Consumer Action. She explains;
System Concepts shares SMK's commitment to social justice. We help our clients to design products, services and working environments which can be used safely and easily by people of all abilities, and train people to work safely and productively. I am happy to help out whenever I can to support people who are working hard to tackle injustice in our society.
SMK are now accepting entries for the 2010 awards, applications close on 28th June. You can find full details of the awards, how to enter or nominate someone you know on the SMK website or click on the banner below.
